BACK IN BLACK!....and gold!
After a 2 month detox in the body and paint shop we finally have this 1979 Trans Am back in our possession! Dan Brown of DB Customs has worked his magic once again and has given "The Bandit" an extreme paint makeover.
Next up is a complete interior makeover with custom wrapped italian leather upholstery, a custom console, a carbon fiber gauge panel, new carpet kit and custom headliner. Additionally, we will incorporate carbon fiber in the door panels to flow with the carbon fiber gauge panel. To complete the high end interior package we will be installing a custom sound system! The system will consist of a Pioneer head unit, Arc Audio 6" component speakers for the front sound stage and Arc Audio 6x9's for the rear fill powered by a 4 channel Arc Audio amp. Finally the trunk will get an amp rack, a single 12" sub powered by an Arc Audio sub amp and a custom trunk kit with carbon fiber accents to finish everything off.

69 RS/SS Camaro engine swap! 350 to LS3
Why would someone take out a perfectly running 400hp engine that commutes 800 miles a week to/from work, runs 13's in the 1/4 mile and gets 18+ mpg? Ooh, Ooh, I know..............BECAUSE THEY CAN!!!!
The new engine is a 427ci modified LS3 crate engine from TurnKey Engine Supply. This 550+ horsepower all aluminum powerplant will breathe through Edelbrock full length headers and x-pipe while passing power through a Tremec TKO600 5-speed transmission.
The old mill coming out was a perfectly running 4-bolt 350 GM crate motor w/ Edelbrock ETEC heads & roller cam. Performance at a Gearhead Garage track day put the car consistently into the 13's.
Other upgrades this round include: an aluminum dual pass radiator w/ twin SPAL electric fans, a Rick's Stainless fuel tank w/ internal Walbro fuel pump, a hydraulic cluctch conversion kit, DSE 7-speed wiper motor & DSE600 steering box, Hydratech Braking System hydroboost w/ Wilwood master cylinder, adjustable proportioning valve and a Hurst Roll Control Line-Lock.
